Link your account, select a post or Reel, filter comments by keywords, mentions, and date range, remove duplicates, then randomly draw winners.

Exclude yourself from the giveaway
From linking your account to announcing winners, the flow is clear and intuitive
Authorize on Instagram's own page — no password needed, fully compliant with Instagram's API policy.
Pick the Instagram post (regular post or Reel) you want to run the giveaway on.
Filter items by keywords, minimum @mentions, or a valid comment time range.
Draw winners in one click, then copy the list to share in a Story or comment. Records are saved for reference.
Team-Friendly Authorization
Generate a time-limited authorization link for the account owner to complete on Instagram themselves, no password required. Once done, the account is linked to Pitchat and your team can start managing giveaways right away.
Built to match how people actually comment on Instagram posts and Reels
Fetches every public comment on a post (including Reels) via the Instagram API — builds a list from thousands of comments in seconds, no manual copying needed.
Set multiple keyword conditions and choose "match any" or "match all" mode, so only comments with the hashtag or phrase you specify make the list.
When the same account comments multiple times, only the first one counts — keeping every follower's chances equal and preventing comment spam from boosting odds.
Require a minimum number of @mentions per comment to qualify. Pitchat counts mentions automatically and excludes comments that don't meet the rule.
Set up first, second, third prizes (and more) with their own quantities — Pitchat draws them all in order and can auto-exclude accounts that already won.
Set a valid start and end time for comments — anything commented after your giveaway closes is automatically excluded, keeping the rules clear.
Three common Instagram giveaway setups
Scenario
A creator posts a Story saying "comment #hashtag on the post to enter," driving followers to comment on the post and boosting its engagement.
Solution
Set a hashtag keyword filter so only comments with that hashtag make the list, and add a time-range filter so comments after the giveaway ends are automatically excluded — clear rules, no disputes.
The Story drives traffic, the post captures the engagement — each format does its job

We optimize across three dimensions — fairness, efficiency, and experience — building trust through transparency to achieve "procedural fairness." For more on our design philosophy, check out our blog post.
We take a "procedural fairness" approach, building trust through full transparency rather than a promise alone — rather than chasing an unattainable absolute fairness. Every draw step runs in your own browser, so you can open your browser's developer tools and inspect the logic yourself.
It's a web tool — just open it in a mobile or desktop browser, no app install needed. After signing in, pick the Instagram post you want to draw from your post list, and Pitchat automatically reads all its comments. Set your draw conditions, then click Draw to randomly pick the winners. The whole flow is just 4 steps: link your account → select a post → set conditions → draw and announce.
We need your consent to read the relevant data through the Instagram API in a secure, compliant way. This is both a Meta platform requirement and a safeguard for your account and data.
If you run into trouble linking your Instagram account on mobile, try switching to a desktop browser instead — it's usually a more stable experience. Use a mainstream browser like Chrome, Safari, or Edge, and make sure you're signed in to the right Instagram account.
Yes. You can generate a time-limited authorization link and send it to the account owner, who completes the authorization on Instagram themselves — no need to ask for their password, and they don't need to sign up for Pitchat either. Once authorized, the account is added to your Pitchat, and you can read its posts and comments to run the giveaway. You can unlink it in Pitchat anytime you no longer need it; the account owner can also remove the authorization from their own Instagram app settings at any time. This is great for social media managers, marketing agencies, or any team managing accounts on a client's behalf — and the same delegated-authorization approach also works for the Facebook giveaway tool, Threads giveaway tool, and YouTube giveaway tool.
There's currently no free plan for Instagram comment giveaways — just pick a paid plan that matches your usage.
It supports automatically reading post comments, keyword filtering (set multiple keywords and choose a match mode), excluding duplicate comments, time-range filtering, block-list management, multiple prize setup, mention-count checks, and more. All features can be combined freely.
Keyword filtering uses exact matching — a comment must fully contain the keyword you set to be included. You can set multiple keywords and choose "match any" or "match all" mode to fine-tune your filter.
Turn on the "Mention Count" feature and set the minimum number of people that must be tagged. Pitchat automatically counts @ mentions in each comment, and only comments that meet the threshold enter the draw.
Each draw currently targets a single post. If you want to draw from multiple posts, just run the draw again for each post in turn.
No — this tool doesn't currently support reading comments from Stories or live broadcasts. It only supports giveaways based on comments on regular posts or Reels. A common workaround is to invite followers on a Story or live broadcast to leave a comment on a post, then run the giveaway from that post's comments.
No. Due to Instagram API policy, third-party tools can't access a post's full list of likes. To run a giveaway, invite your followers to comment on your post or Reel instead — Pitchat can read those comments and run the draw.
No. The Instagram API currently doesn't allow reading a full follower list for cross-checking. We recommend stating "must follow this account" in your giveaway rules, then manually checking whether each winner follows you after the draw.
Possible reasons: (1) the comment was deleted by its author, (2) the commenter's account was deactivated, or (3) Instagram API restrictions blocked access. If the read count doesn't match what you see on Instagram, we recommend manually checking the post's comments there.
Yes! Once the draw is complete, you can copy the winner list to your clipboard in one click, ready to post on Instagram or in a Story. The list is clearly formatted with each winner's username and prize, ready to use as-is.
Yes, you can re-draw. Pitchat caches the first-stage comment pool for 30 minutes to speed up the draw process. To clear the cache and re-fetch the latest comments, click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the "Draw Results" section and choose "Clear cached data" from the settings menu.
If you lose connection, your browser closes unexpectedly, or something else out of your control happens, Pitchat caches the first-stage comment pool for 30 minutes. If you change the post or the first-stage settings (exclude self, duplicate comments, time range), it re-fetches the latest comments.
