Connect your channel, choose a video, filter eligible comments by keyword, mentions, date, or duplicate users, then pick random winners.

Exclude yourself from the giveaway
Authorize your channel, pick a video, set conditions, and draw — then copy the winner list straight into a pinned comment
Authorize through Google's official flow — no password needed, or send an authorization link for the owner to complete.
Pick the video from your authorized channel you want to run this giveaway on.
Turn your rules into draw conditions — Pitchat filters out only the valid comments.
Draw winners in one click, pin the list as a comment, or save a public winner page to share.
Comments on a popular video mix in chatter, reactions, and content that has nothing to do with your giveaway. Turn your announced rules into conditions and let Pitchat apply them — no scrolling required.
YouTube shows top comments first by default, so you'd have to scroll to see the rest. Pitchat reads every public comment before drawing, so everyone has an equal shot.
Filter out video comments that have nothing to do with your giveaway. Set keywords (match any or all) to keep only viewers who actually followed the rules.
Engaged fans often comment five or six times on a video. Pitchat only counts each person's first comment, so their odds stay the same as everyone else's.
When a video goes viral, comments can spike outside your giveaway window. Set a valid start and end time to exclude comments from before or after your announcement.
When your rules require tagging a certain number of friends, set a mention-count threshold and let Pitchat check every comment — no manual counting.
Set your quantities for first, second, and participation prizes up front — Pitchat draws them all in sequence, no need to re-read comments or run multiple rounds.
Three common YouTube comment giveaway scenarios
01
A channel-milestone giveaway is viewers trading long-term support for a shot at something back. When comments pile up into the thousands, picking winners by hand is hard to defend — turning your announced rules into conditions Pitchat applies to every comment gives your draw a story that holds up.
02
A sponsored giveaway usually means reporting back to the brand on how it ran. Pitchat can save the draw as a public winner-list page with a link to the video and the conditions applied, ready to hand straight to the brand and your viewers.
03
Generate an authorization link for the channel owner to complete on Google themselves. You never have to handle their password — once authorized, that channel's videos show up in your list.
Check whether your rules are actually possible before you announce them.
Public comments on videos from an authorized channel
Keywords and mention count within comments
Comments posted within your giveaway window
Excluding duplicate comments, repeat winners, the video author, and the block list
Real-time live-chat messages
Verifying whether a viewer is subscribed
Filtering eligibility by "likes"
Videos on other, unauthorized channels
For a live, real-time draw, try Spin Wheel or Lucky Draw instead — neither needs a social account, just a participant list ready ahead of time.
We optimize across three dimensions — fairness, efficiency, and experience — building trust through transparency to achieve "procedural fairness." For more on our design philosophy, check out our blog post.
Every draw step runs in your own browser, so you can open your browser's developer tools and inspect the logic yourself. Once you save the winner list, the applied conditions are recorded alongside it for future reference.
It's a web tool — just open it in a mobile or desktop browser, no app or program to install. After signing in, link your YouTube channel, pick the video you want to draw from your video list, and Pitchat automatically reads that video's public comments. Set your draw conditions, then click Draw to randomly pick the winners. The whole flow is just 4 steps: link your channel → select a video → set conditions → draw and announce.
We need your consent to read your channel's video and comment data through Google's official API in a secure, compliant way. This is both a Google platform requirement and a necessary step to keep your account secure.
Yes. You can generate a time-limited authorization link for the channel owner to complete on YouTube themselves, no password required. Once authorized, the channel is linked to Pitchat and you can manage giveaways for it. If you're helping out on another platform, the same approach works for Instagram, Threads, and Facebook giveaways too.
If you run into trouble linking your YouTube account on mobile, try switching to a desktop browser instead — it's usually a more stable experience. If the issue continues, feel free to reach out through our online support.
There's currently no free plan for YouTube comment giveaways — just pick a paid plan that matches your usage.
It supports keyword filtering (set multiple keywords, match any or all), excluding duplicate comments, time-range filtering, mention-count verification, block-list management, excluding the video author, and excluding repeat winners.
Yes. Multiple filter conditions can be enabled at the same time — Pitchat applies all of them together, so only comments that fully satisfy every condition make the draw list, keeping your rules strictly enforced.
Yes. You can add multiple prizes and set a quantity for each — Pitchat draws winners for each prize in sequence, and you can choose whether the same person can win more than one prize.
Not currently — this tool can only read public comments under a regular video. For a live, real-time draw, try Spin Wheel or Lucky Draw instead — neither needs a social account, just a participant list ready ahead of time.
No. The YouTube API currently doesn't allow reading a channel's full subscriber list for cross-checking. If your rules require subscribing, we recommend stating that in your announcement and manually verifying it after drawing winners.
No. Due to YouTube API policy, third-party tools can't access a video's list of likes. To run a giveaway, invite your viewers to comment on the video instead — Pitchat can read those comments and run the draw.
Only from an authorized channel's videos — Pitchat reads from the video list of a linked channel, and there's no option to paste in a video URL. If you want to draw from someone else's channel, generate an authorization link for the channel owner to complete; once authorized, that channel's videos will appear in your list.
Possible reasons: (1) the comment was deleted by its author, (2) the commenter's account was deactivated, or (3) the YouTube API caps or limits how many comments it returns. If the read count doesn't match what you see on YouTube, we recommend manually checking the video's comments there, and always double-check the draw results yourself.
Yes. Once the draw is complete, you can copy the winner list in one click, ready to pin as a comment or announce on social. You can also save the draw as a public winner-list page, complete with a link to the video and the conditions that were applied, so viewers can easily verify it.
